After ten years of ministry, our current minister is seeking a church closer to relatives. We wish him well, certain that the Lord will lead him to the right congregation.

PARKER BULLARD – MINISTER
Parker has been our minister since 2010. He and his wife, Katie, have three children. Parker is a graduate of Oklahoma Christian University and Harding School of Theology. He holds a Master of Arts in Old Testament and a Master of Divinity. His interests include woodworking, fishing, and reading.
JERRY SMITH – ELDER
Jerry became an elder in 2014. He is a surgeon, and his wife, Susan, is an online professor in the Nurse Practitioner program at Harding University. They travel regularly for medical missions, but spend their free time jeeping, hunting, and walking their Norwegian elkhound Elli.
STEVE CHELF – ELDER
Steve has been an elder since 2000. Together with his wife Linda, Steve owns and operates Poncha Lumber, a home center and lumber yard. He and Linda have two sons and four grandchildren. You can often find him at the Salida Golf Course.
JIM WILSON – ELDER
Jim has served as an elder since 2000. Before that, he served as superintendent of the Salida School District. Most recently, Jim served as the State Representative for House District 60. He and Kristi have four daughters. Jim enjoys hunting, fishing, gardening, and producing a large kid-friendly Christmas display each year.
JIM RICHARDS – DEACON
Jim has been a member of Poncha Springs Church of Christ since the seventies, but he accepted the call to serve as deacon in 2014. Jim is largely responsible for our facilities. He and his wife Sharon have two children and one granddaughter. He enjoys hunting and fishing.
BEN HILL – DEACON
Ben began serving as deacon in 2014 with an emphasis in youth ministry. He leads our teen class and facilitates our youth gatherings. Ben is a veterinarian at Salida Veterinary Hospital, and his wife Tracey is a nurse at Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center. He and Tracey have four children active in the youth group. Ben enjoys hunting and all things John Wayne.
